New Patch for Fusion Ticket Beta 6
|

|
While Beta 6 included many new features our members requested they invariably cause problems within the rest of the program. We have addressed these and now have patches to fix most of these issues. The first patch 6.1 was released in May and the 6.2 patch in August. A further patch 6.3 has now been released for our VIP donors. Details of the new features and bug fixes are given later in this Newsletter All patches are free to members who have made donations of $50 or more but will be made available, as an individual patch, to the general public for a donation of $12.50 or more. Previous versions of Fusion Ticket are available for download, free of charge, from the Downloads section of the Fusion Ticket website. |

Beta 6.3 Patch - Release Notes

Now we have almost a stable version of FT and approach the availability of a Release Candidate of the software, we are now preparing to extend our services by offering a hosted version on our own secure Servers. This 'Software as a Service (SaaS)' will provide a fully supported hosted version of FusionTicket, together with optional Event Management, Theming, Seating Plans and Custom Development of Payment Handlers etc. to suit particular Users needs. Adminstered by an associate Comany, Fusion Ticket Solutions, the service will have a pricing structure that ensures that, in line with the primary objective of Fusion Ticket, Amateur Societies, Charities and other non-professional Orgaisations will continue to benefit from use of the OS software with minimal hosting costs.

Can we contribute more than just money?

| Of course! If you have good PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript or MySQL knowledge you'll be very welcome to help.
If programming is not your strong suit then help other users with the software, as everyone's skills differ. Any time the programmers spend explaining something is time spent away from bug fixing or feature improvements. You may also spend time testing for bugs, reporting them in detail, and work with the programmers, on the IRC, to correct them. Meanwhile, making suggestions to improve usability and functionality are always welcome. |
