New Patch for Fusion Ticket Beta 6

|
While Beta 6 included many new features our members requested they invariably cause problems within the rest of the program. We have addressed these and now have patches to fix most of these issues. The last patch 6.3 was released in November. A further patch 6.4 will now released for our VIP donors. Details of the new features and bug fixes are given later in this Newsletter We will make, individual patch available, to the general public for a donation of $12.50 on our download section. Previous versions of Fusion Ticket are available for download, free of charge, from the Downloads section of the Fusion Ticket website. |

Beta 6.4 Patch - Release Notes

As announced in a previous edition of the Newsletter, our associated Company, Fusion Ticket Solutions, is to launch a hosted service for users of the Fusion Ticket software. This Service is aimed at those who may not have the time or administrative skills to host their own site. The need to concentrate on releasing the new patch to Beta 6.0 has impacted on the completion of the Administrative software and hence delayed the formal launch of the Service. However we are now able to manually set-up hosting for anyone who may wish to take advantage of the Service in advance of the formal launch. Pricing is not yet finally decided but please note that, in line with the objectives of Fusion Ticket, there will be extremely advantageous terms for Amateur Societies and Charities, with completely free hosting in some circumstances. If you are a Commercial User then the charges will be extremely competitive compared with other options for a comprehensive hosted on-line Box Office Ticketing System. |
Slowly we are getting a stable version. We like to thank you all with reporting problems within Fusion Ticket and also those who support us by donating money. This gives us our drive to continue with creating next releases. Like the current release, the next release will also be a release that is an amendment to make Fusion Ticket more usable and stable for you and your users. We have a list of tasks setup that we want to do for the next release. Look here for the list. As you can see there are still an lot of issue that need to be fixed before we think a stable release can be made. So there will be a next beta release. We hope you will help us find the last bugs that we did not find ourselves. |

Although we try to maintain this software for as little as possible, we have working lives and other items that need doing. Your donations allow us to spend more time supporting members, developing plug-ins and additional features, instead of the bare minimum. A donation, of any amount, helps get us toward the next release and our ultimate goal.
Any member who donates over $50 per release (a feature version release), will receive Premiere status. Premiere members receive access to private sections of Fusion Ticket where mid version bug fixes, patches, and pre-release versions are available free of charge. In addition Premiere members receive enhanced priority support.
When making donations please add your Fusion Ticket login ID so credit can be given where credit is due. |

Can we contribute more than just money?

|
Of course! If you have good PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript or MySQL knowledge you'll be very welcome to help. If programming is not your strong suit then help other users with the software, as everyone's skills differ. Any time the programmers spend explaining something is time spent away from bug fixing or feature improvements. You may also spend time testing for bugs, reporting them in detail, and work with the programmers, on the IRC, to correct them. Meanwhile, making suggestions to improve usability and functionality are always welcome. |

If you really want to help then do not remove or change the copyright notice at the bottom of the webshop, which is also the link to our site, because you then deprive the project of future members and resources. Doing so will stop us supporting you when you are need help. If you must remove the copyright, for any reason, please contact us to purchase the proper license. |
